Entrepreneur
Mark is a visionary serial entrepreneur that has launched over two dozen companies in a variety of different industries. Mark is a seasoned business operator and currently serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of Direct Biologics, LLC and the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Kind Health, Inc.
Mark is a prior winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was also named as an "Outstanding Texas Entrepreneur" by the Governor of Texas and the Texas House of Representatives.
Mark has a business degree from Texas State University.
DOUG WILMETH
Land Manager
Doug has over 30 years of experience in surface asset management. He managed specialty assets for a major bank. In that capacity, he engaged in ranch sales, hunting and grazing lease negotiations, surface damage negotiations, pipeline right of way and electric line easements, wildlife management plan development, USDA Farm program enrollment, applications for 1D1 tax valuation for wildlife exemption, and agricultural exemption for ranches.
Doug supervised direct operations of cattle and wildlife on more than 130 ranches nationwide. This included inspections, yearly asset reviews, appraisals, and presentation of management plans for clients.
Doug worked in the oil and gas industry doing drilling site construction, pipeline right of way maintenance, and line locating for ConocoPhillips, EOG, Marathon, Kinder Morgan
Doug earned a Bachelor's in Animal Science from Texas State University and a Masters in Ranch Management from the King Ranch Institute for Ranch Management. He also has business process certification from the University of Texas and Managerial Analysis certification from Kansas State University.

Petroleum Geologist
Elliott Pew has over 40 years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Pew served as Board Chairman and a Member of the Audit and Risk Committee of Enerplus Corporation, as a director of Franco-Nevada Corporation, as a director of Southwestern Energy Company, and as co-founder, executive and member of the board of managers of Common Resources I, II and III (private E&P).
Prior to that, Mr. Pew held senior executive positions with Newfield Exploration Company in Houston and was Senior Vice President, Exploration of American Exploration Company.
Elliott holds an M.A. in Geology from the University of Texas at Austin and an A.B. in Geology from Franklin and Marshall College and is a member of the ICD and NACD.

Jim Davis, CFP®, is a Senior Wealth Advisor at Aspen Wealth Management. With nine years of professional experience, Jim manages marketing and client outreach for the firm, focusing on providing personalized financial planning services for investment, retirement, estate, tax, and insurance planning.
Additionally, he drives growth by implementing targeted marketing strategies, including content creation, social media management, and networking initiatives. Jim’s career has been shaped by his diverse experiences working at a large national brokerage firm, a multi-family office serving ultra-high-net-worth families, a fee-based RIA in DFW, and now as a partner at Aspen Wealth.
Jim holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Communication and a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, both from Abilene Christian University.
He earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation in 2019. His key areas of expertise include tax-efficient retirement income planning and estate planning.

Petroleum Geologist
Tom is a highly successful Petroleum Geologist with an extensive career in the Oil & Gas Industry. He was an industry leader in identifying and capturing horizontal resource play assets in the early days of the Permian Basin Wolfcamp and Spraberry Shales, South Texas Eagle Ford Shale and Oklahoma Woodford Shale.
Tom has served in previous roles as Vice President of Exploration for Common Resources LLC, Mid-Continent Asset Manager and Onshore Exploration Manager for Newfield Exploration Co. and Petroleum Geologist roles with American Exploration Co., Fina Oil and Chemical Co. and Tenneco Oil Co.
Tom holds a B.S. in Geology from Texas A&M University.
